The Experience
My approach to family and couple adventure photography in Waterton National Park centers on natural interactions with an emphasis on the connection and emotion you and your family members/loved ones share. While vacationing in, or traveling to Waterton National Park, I am happy to offer family and couple sessions that capture the memories you share here and showcase the beautiful Waterton landscapes that surround us. As a Waterton Photographer, I can recommend both popular and more hidden gem areas of the national park.
I offer gentle prompts and light posing throughout your session to ensure a beautifully balanced gallery that feels effortless, flattering, and true to you. As a mommy of two, I know that a little patience and some candy goes a long way-your kiddos are in good hands!

Waterton Family and Couple Photography Sessions FAQ
Are you licensed to work in Waterton National Park?
Yes, Allie Cooke Photography is licensed and insured to work in Waterton National Park. Your session includes all travel, licenses and associated fees for shooting in the park.
When is the best time to book a photo session in Waterton?
The best season to book a photography session in Waterton is September and October. While the park is open and beautiful year round, September and October are quieter months in the park that still offer beautiful weather (typically in the 10-25 degree range) with lower risk of wildfire smoke and extreme heat waves.
Can I add additional family members?
You may add additional family members to your session. A fee of $35 + gst per additional participant applies.
What should we wear for our session?
I have prepared a detailed Wardrobe and Style guide to assist my clients with wardrobe selection - I am always happy to review your outfits and provide feedback before our session.
How Will We Receive Our Images?
Your gallery will be delivered via email to the email address provided at the time of booking.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Lifestyle Session turnaround times depend on the session, a list of turnaround times are provided under each service option. When you book your session with me, you are also booking out my editing time to work on and complete your session within the same week - count on priority turnaround times with any booking!
How do we prepare for our Waterton photo session?
- wear bug spray
- bring bear spray if we are going into forested areas
- bring a clean pair of shoes and socks for the ride home
- bring snacks and water bottles for the kiddos
Do you offer albums or prints?
You can purchase prints and canvases directly off my store - simply click "buy photo" at the top of your album for a list of printing options. I create custom albums for my clients by request only.
