Photography, for me, has never been about creating a collection of perfect poses.
It’s about the way your husband looks at you when you aren’t paying attention. Your dad trying not to cry as he sees you for the first time. The champagne that gets spilled, the hugs that last a little too long, the wind blowing through your dress, and all of those little moments you didn’t even realize were happening.
My approach is documentary at heart with an editorial feel — creating photographs that are emotional, honest, romantic and beautifully timeless.
