all of the information you will need to plan your elopement in waterton lakes national park
What Is The Best Time Of Year To Elope in Waterton?
The summer and early fall months between July and October are the easiest months to plan for, in terms of both weather and dining/accommodation options. Waterton is largely a seasonal community and you will have the most options during the summer months, with several businesses remaining open and available to serve you until November when things really start to get cold.
With that being said, the park is open year round and if you are up for a more winter focused elopement, you can always incorporate fun activities like snow shoeing into your day. Winter elopements are more intimate as way fewer visitors are in or around the park during off-season months.
How Many People Can Attend Our Elopement?
Small gatherings of 25 people or less are permitted at many locations within the townsite and day use areas. Wedding ceremonies are not permitted in some areas to protect ecological integrity and promote positive visitor experience.
