Taylor and Brian's wedding day at Heritage Pointe Golf Club, just outside Okotoks and a short drive from Calgary, was the perfect combination of elegance, great food, heartfelt moments, and an unforgettable celebration surrounded by the people they love most.
One of the best things about a wedding at Heritage Pointe is that everything you need is right there in one beautiful location. From the ceremony space to the reception venue and endless portrait locations, the property offers stunning backdrops at every turn. Taylor and Bryan embraced that convenience and beauty, choosing to spend their entire wedding day on-site.
Their ceremony took place on the back patio overlooking the golf course, where rolling fairways and expansive views created a breathtaking backdrop for their vows. Surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged promises to one another in a setting that felt both intimate and grand. Heritage Pointe Golf Club is an amazing golf course wedding venue in Calgary.
Following the ceremony, we hopped aboard golf carts and set off for a private tour of the course for family portraits, bridal party photos, and couples portraits. One of the things I loved most about this wedding was how relaxed the timeline felt. There was no rushing between locations or worrying about transportation. Instead, everyone was able to enjoy the beautiful scenery while we explored some of the most picturesque spots on the property.
Heritage Pointe truly offers an incredible variety of backdrops. From manicured greens and winding cart paths to mature trees and sweeping views, every corner of the property provided a new opportunity for beautiful photographs. Because of that, there was never a need to leave the venue. Everything we needed was right there.
Taylor and Brian were naturals together in front of the camera. Whether they were sharing quiet moments alone or laughing with their wedding party, their connection was effortless and genuine. The relaxed atmosphere of the day allowed those authentic moments to unfold naturally, resulting in photographs that feel timeless and true to them.
As guests gathered inside for the reception, they were treated to an incredible buffet dinner that quickly became a highlight of the evening. The room buzzed with conversation, laughter, and excitement as everyone settled in to celebrate the newlyweds.
As the evening continued, the focus shifted to one of the most meaningful parts of any wedding day: the speeches. Family and friends shared stories, memories, and heartfelt words that left few dry eyes in the room. There were moments of laughter, moments of reflection, and plenty of emotion as those closest to Taylor and Bryan spoke about the love they have witnessed throughout their relationship.
Once the formalities wrapped up, the celebration truly kicked into high gear. The dance floor filled quickly as country music echoed throughout the venue, bringing guests of all ages together. Boots hit the dance floor, friends sang along to their favourite songs, and the energy remained high well into the night.
