Special moments you may want to save room for in your timeline

(that you might not have put much thought into)

The Dress Hang

Your wedding dress is more than an item of clothing – it is a symbol of the entire celebration. Much time, energy and money goes into selecting your perfect dress and in my opinion it deserves it’s own moment. I always look for unique and creative ways to hang your dress in your venue or getting ready space.

The Flat Lay

This is a birds eye perspective of all the key items that symbolize the day – for example your veil, bouquet, wedding invitation/save the date, rings, order of events card, vow books, bridal shoes, bridal jewelry etc. All these little items that set the stage for the main event! Much detail, money and planning goes into these details and I think they are worthy of their own beautiful spread. I style these items and capture these images for my couples as a true keepsake of the day.

Bridal Portraits

You will literally NEVER put as much thought or energy into your appearance as you do on your wedding day. From professional hair and make up, that gorgeous dress you splurged on all the way to the tiny details you adorn yourself with (queue veil, bridal jewelry and those cute white heels). The spray tan, the bridal boutique, all that waxing? We MUST MAKE THIS MOMENT COUNT!

Save room in your getting ready timeline for a 15-20 minute breather where we can fully document and play around with stunning bridal portrait ideas in your venue or getting ready space. I promise you will never forget carving out this time, and these might just be your grandkids favourite images of your wedding day!

Letter Reading

Swapping day of letters with your spouse? Priceless, sentimental and oh so precious. I highly recommend this moment in your getting ready timeline so this moment can be documented in a quiet room as the raw emotion of the day hits. PS – keep your makeup artist on site until after your letter reading; she will most likely have to touch up your makeup before you head out to the ceremony.
