The best time of year to get married in Edmonton is mid-July until mid-September. These are prime booking dates as this time of year has the lowest chance of rain and the highest number of sunny and warm days of the calendar year.
How much does a wedding at Black Barn cost?
Black Barn offers comprehensive, all inclusive wedding packages that range from $7,000 - $15,000 depending on the date/season. They may include a day of coordinator (Aaron, he is fabulous!), linens, tables/chairs, flatware etc. Contact Black Barn directly for a detailed, up to date quote.
Do you photograph weddings exclusively at the Black Barn?
Not at all! I photograph weddings throughout Alberta, but the Black Barn is one of my favourite venues thanks to its beautiful light, thoughtful design, and stunning outdoor spaces.
Do you travel to Edmonton for weddings?
Absolutely. I regularly photograph weddings throughout Edmonton and Central Alberta, don't worry - travel fees are included.
Is it worth it to have full weekend coverage?
You will never regret the photos you have, only the photos you don't have. In my opinion the more coverage, the better. As a documentary style wedding photographer all of the small, intimate and emotional moments leading up to the wedding day and following the wedding day are equally special, and tell the complete story of your wedding.

Definitely. Almost every couple tells me this before their engagement session. I'll guide you naturally so your photos feel effortless instead of overly posed.
When should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples reserve their date 12–24 months in advance, especially for popular summer and fall weekends. Feel free to reach out any time to check availability for your date - gaps do exist and you may get lucky!
